A Closer Look at Reference Learning for Fourier Phase Retrieval
Reconstructing images from their Fourier magnitude measurements is a problem that often arises in different research areas. This process is also referred to as phase retrieval. In this work, we consider a modified version of the phase retrieval problem, which allows for a reference image to be added onto the image before the Fourier magnitudes are measured. We analyze an unrolled Gerchberg-Saxton (GS) algorithm that can be used to learn a good reference image from a dataset. Furthermore, we take a closer look at the learned reference images and propose a simple and efficient heuristic to construct reference images that, in some cases, yields reconstructions of comparable quality as approaches that learn references. Solving Phase Retrieval with a Learned Reference
Fourier phase retrieval is a classical problem that deals with the recovery of an image from the amplitude measurements of its Fourier coefficients. Conventional methods solve this problem via iterative (alternating) min…
RetrievalADMM based Fourier phase retrieval with untrained generative prior
Fourier phase retrieval (FPR) is an inverse problem that recovers the signal from its Fourier magnitude measurement, it's ill-posed especially when the sampling rates are low. In this paper, an untrained generative prior…
RetrievalThe generalized phase retrieval problem over compact groups
The classical phase retrieval problem involves estimating a signal from its Fourier magnitudes (power spectrum) by leveraging prior information about the desired signal. This paper extends the problem to compact groups, …
RetrievalPhase retrieval with semi-algebraic and ReLU neural network priors
The key ingredient to retrieving a signal from its Fourier magnitudes, namely, to solve the phase retrieval problem, is an effective prior on the sought signal. In this paper, we study the phase retrieval problem under t…
RetrievalDeepPhaseCut: Deep Relaxation in Phase for Unsupervised Fourier Phase Retrieval
Fourier phase retrieval is a classical problem of restoring a signal only from the measured magnitude of its Fourier transform. Although Fienup-type algorithms, which use prior knowledge in both spatial and Fourier domai…
