Discretization of Linear Systems using the Matrix Exponential
Discretizing continuous-time linear systems typically requires numerical integration. This document presents a convenient method for discretizing the dynamics, input, and process noise state-space matrices of a continuous-time linear system using a single matrix exponential.

Numerical Discretization Methods for the Extended Linear Quadratic Control Problem
In this study, we introduce numerical methods for discretizing continuous-time linear-quadratic optimal control problems (LQ-OCPs). The discretization of continuous-time LQ-OCPs is formulated into differential equation s…
Numerical Discretization Methods for Linear Quadratic Control Problems with Time Delays
This paper presents the numerical discretization methods of the continuous-time linear-quadratic optimal control problems (LQ-OCPs) with time delays. We describe the weight matrices of the LQ-OCPs as differential equatio…
Model Predictive ControlStability analysis and stabilization of systems with hyperexponential rates
Hyperexponential stability is investigated for dynamical systems with the use of both, explicit and implicit, Lyapunov function methods. A nonlinear hyperexponential control is designed for stabilizing linear systems. Th…
Exact Flow Linear Attention: Exact Solution from Continuous-Time Dynamics
In this paper, we introduce Exact Flow Linear Attention~(EFLA), an exact-flow formulation of delta-rule linear attention. We show that the delta-rule update can be interpreted as an explicit Euler discretization of an un…
Exponential discretization of weights of neural network connections in pre-trained neural networks
To reduce random access memory (RAM) requirements and to increase speed of recognition algorithms we consider a weight discretization problem for trained neural networks. We show that an exponential discretization is pre…
