Graph-Based Meaning Representations: Design and Processing

2019-07-01 · ACL 2019 7 · Alex Koller, er, Stephan Oepen, Weiwei Sun

This tutorial is on representing and processing sentence meaning in the form of labeled directed graphs. The tutorial will (a) briefly review relevant background in formal and linguistic semantics; (b) semi-formally define a unified abstract view on different flavors of semantic graphs and associated terminology; (c) survey common frameworks for graph-based meaning representation and available graph banks; and (d) offer a technical overview of a representative selection of different parsing approaches.

Learning Laplacian Matrix in Smooth Graph Signal Representations

2014-06-30 · Xiaowen Dong, Dorina Thanou, Pascal Frossard, Pierre Vandergheynst

The construction of a meaningful graph plays a crucial role in the success of many graph-based representations and algorithms for handling structured data, especially in the emerging field of graph signal processing. How…

GraphMuse: A Library for Symbolic Music Graph Processing

2024-07-17 · Emmanouil Karystinaios, Gerhard Widmer

Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) have recently gained traction in symbolic music tasks, yet a lack of a unified framework impedes progress. Addressing this gap, we present GraphMuse, a graph processing framework and library …

Inducing brain-relevant bias in natural language processing models

2019-10-29 · NeurIPS 2019 12 · Dan Schwartz, Mariya Toneva, Leila Wehbe

Progress in natural language processing (NLP) models that estimate representations of word sequences has recently been leveraged to improve the understanding of language processing in the brain. However, these models hav…

Polynomial Graph Parsing with Non-Structural Reentrancies

2021-05-05 · Johanna Björklund, Frank Drewes, Anna Jonsson

Graph-based semantic representations are valuable in natural language processing, where it is often simple and effective to represent linguistic concepts as nodes, and relations as edges between them. Several attempts ha…

Parameter Free Hierarchical Graph-Based Clustering for Analyzing Continuous Word Embeddings

2017-08-01 · WS 2017 8 · Thomas Alex Trost, er, Dietrich Klakow

Word embeddings are high-dimensional vector representations of words and are thus difficult to interpret. In order to deal with this, we introduce an unsupervised parameter free method for creating a hierarchical graphic…
