Introducing the Mathematics Meme Repository

This paper introduces the “Mathematical Mathematics Memes Dataset”, a comprehensive collection of over 10,000 math-related memes sourced from the “Mathematical Mathematics Memes” Facebook group. These memes offer a unique perspective on the intersection of mathematics and humor. We discuss the dataset's origins, content, and potential applications, including meme generation, abusive meme detection, and text extraction for popularity prediction. This dataset serves as a valuable resource for researchers and meme enthusiasts interested in exploring the realm of mathematical memes.
