Lattice Structure of Variable Precision Rough Sets

2016-07-06 · Sumita Basu

The main purpose of this paper is to study the lattice structure of variable precision rough sets. The notion of variation in precision of rough sets have been further extended to variable precision rough set with variable classification error and its algebraic properties are also studied.

Reconfigurable Auxetic Devices (RADs) for Robotic Surface Manipulation

2025-11-24 · Jacob Miske, Ahyan Maya, Ahnaf Inkiad, Jeffrey Ian Lipton arxiv

Robotic surfaces traditionally use materials with a positive Poisson's ratio to push and pull on a manipulation interface. Auxetic materials with a negative Poisson's ratio may expand in multiple directions when stretche…

Geometric lattice structure of covering and its application to attribute reduction through matroids

2013-12-16 · Aiping Huang, William Zhu

The reduction of covering decision systems is an important problem in data mining, and covering-based rough sets serve as an efficient technique to process the problem. Geometric lattices have been widely used in many fi…

Lattice Quantization

2021-09-29 · Clément Metz, Thibault Allenet, Johannes Christian Thiele, Antoine Dupret 외

Low bit quantization of weights in increasingly large deep convolutional neural networks (DCNNs) can be critical for their implementation in memory constrained hardware systems. Post-training quantization consists in qua…

Information-Theoretic Measures on Lattices for High-Order Interactions

2024-08-14 · Zhaolu Liu, Mauricio Barahona, Robert L. Peach

Traditional measures based solely on pairwise associations often fail to capture the complex statistical structure of multivariate data. Existing approaches for identifying information shared among $d>3$ variables are fr…
