On BT-limited Signals

2020-05-28 · Xiang-Gen Xia

In this paper, we introduce and characterize a subspace of bandlimited signals. The subspace consists of all $\Omega$ bandlimited signals such that the non-zero parts of their Fourier transforms are pieces of some $T$ bandlimited signals. The signals in the subspace are called BT-limited signals and the subspace is named as BT-limited signal space. For BT-limited signals, a signal extrapolation with an analytic error estimate exists outside the interval [-T, T] of given signal values with errors. Some new properties about and applying BT-limited signals are also presented.

HDR Imaging With One-Bit Quantization

2023-09-07 · Arian Eamaz, Farhang Yeganegi, Mojtaba Soltanalian

Modulo sampling and dithered one-bit quantization frameworks have emerged as promising solutions to overcome the limitations of traditional analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and sensors. Modulo sampling, with its high-…

Random sampling of bandlimited signals on graphs

2015-11-16 · Gilles Puy, Nicolas Tremblay, Rémi Gribonval, Pierre Vandergheynst

We study the problem of sampling k-bandlimited signals on graphs. We propose two sampling strategies that consist in selecting a small subset of nodes at random. The first strategy is non-adaptive, i.e., independent of t…

A Note On the Clark Conjecture On Time-Warped Bandlimited Signals

2024-07-01 · Xiang-Gen Xia

In this note, a result of a previous paper on the Clark conjecture on time-warped bandlimited signals is extended to a more general class of the time warping functions, which includes most of the common functions in prac…

Unique Bispectrum Inversion for Signals with Finite Spectral/Temporal Support

2021-11-11 · Samuel Pinilla, Kumar Vijay Mishra, Brian M. Sadler

Retrieving a signal from its triple correlation spectrum, also called bispectrum, arises in a wide range of signal processing problems. Conventional methods do not provide an accurate inversion of bispectrum to the under…

FROG-measurement based phase retrieval for analytic signals

2021-03-08 · Youfa Li, Yaoshuai Ma, Deguang Han

While frequency-resolved optical gating (FROG) is widely used in characterizing the ultrafast pulse in optics, analytic signals are often considered in time-frequency analysis and signal processing, especially when extra…
