Reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces on manifolds: Sobolev and Diffusion spaces
We study reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces (RKHS) on a Riemannian manifold. In particular, we discuss under which condition Sobolev spaces are RKHS and characterize their reproducing kernels. Further, we introduce and di…
Duality for Neural Networks through Reproducing Kernel Banach Spaces
Reproducing Kernel Hilbert spaces (RKHS) have been a very successful tool in various areas of machine learning. Recently, Barron spaces have been used to prove bounds on the generalisation error for neural networks. Unfo…
Reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces in the mean field limit
Kernel methods, being supported by a well-developed theory and coming with efficient algorithms, are among the most popular and successful machine learning techniques. From a mathematical point of view, these methods res…
Featured Reproducing Kernel Banach Spaces for Learning and Neural Networks
Reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces provide a foundational framework for kernel-based learning, where regularization and interpolation problems admit finite-dimensional solutions through classical representer theorems. Man…
Notes on Kernel Methods in Machine Learning
These notes provide a self-contained introduction to kernel methods and their geometric foundations in machine learning. Starting from the construction of Hilbert spaces, we develop the theory of positive definite kernel…
