Spatial pattern and power function deviation in a cellular automata model of an ant population
A spatially explicit model previously developed to apply to a population of arboreal nesting ants in southern Mexico is explored in detail, including notions of criticality and robust criticality and expected power law adjustment.

Uncovering spatial tissue domains and cell types in spatial omics through cross-scale profiling of cellular and genomic interactions
Cellular identity and function are linked to both their intrinsic genomic makeup and extrinsic spatial context within the tissue microenvironment. Spatial transcriptomics (ST) offers an unprecedented opportunity to study…
GraFSTNet: Graph-based Frequency SpatioTemporal Network for Cellular Traffic Prediction
With rapid expansion of cellular networks and the proliferation of mobile devices, cellular traffic data exhibits complex temporal dynamics and spatial correlations, posing challenges to accurate traffic prediction. Prev…
Traffic PredictionPointFISH -- learning point cloud representations for RNA localization patterns
Subcellular RNA localization is a critical mechanism for the spatial control of gene expression. Its mechanism and precise functional role is not yet very well understood. Single Molecule Fluorescence in Situ Hybridizati…
Global cell-cell communication enables spatial segregation of cells in organoids of the inner cell mass
During development, cell fates are determined through a combination of intracellular transcriptional regulations and extracellular signaling. As a result, spatial patterns of different cell types arise. We investigate th…
