Spatio-temporal motion correction and iterative reconstruction of in-utero fetal fMRI

Resting-state functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) is a powerful imaging technique for studying functional development of the brain in utero. However, unpredictable and excessive movement of fetuses have limited its clinical applicability. Previous studies have focused primarily on the accurate estimation of the motion parameters employing a single step 3D interpolation at each individual time frame to recover a motion-free 4D fMRI image. Using only information from a 3D spatial neighborhood neglects the temporal structure of fMRI and useful information from neighboring timepoints. Here, we propose a novel technique based on four dimensional iterative reconstruction of the motion scattered fMRI slices. Quantitative evaluation of the proposed method on a cohort of real clinical fetal fMRI data indicates improvement of reconstruction quality compared to the conventional 3D interpolation approaches.

Spatiotemporal Manifold Prediction Model for Anterior Vertebral Body Growth Modulation Surgery in Idiopathic Scoliosis

2018-06-06 · William Mandel, Olivier Turcot, Dejan Knez, Stefan Parent 외

Anterior Vertebral Body Growth Modulation (AVBGM) is a minimally invasive surgical technique that gradually corrects spine deformities while preserving lumbar motion. However the selection of potential surgical patients …

MoVer: Motion Verification for Motion Graphics Animations

2025-02-19 · Jiaju Ma, Maneesh Agrawala

While large vision-language models can generate motion graphics animations from text prompts, they regularly fail to include all spatio-temporal properties described in the prompt. We introduce MoVer, a motion verificati…

Interlaced dynamic XCT reconstruction with spatio-temporal implicit neural representations

2025-10-09 · Mathias Boulanger, Ericmoore Jossou arxiv

In this work, we investigate the use of spatio-temporalImplicit Neural Representations (INRs) for dynamic X-ray computed tomography (XCT) reconstruction under interlaced acquisition schemes. The proposed approach combine…

Spatiotemporal PET reconstruction using ML-EM with learned diffeomorphic deformation

2019-08-26 · Ozan Öktem, Camille Pouchol, Olivier Verdier

Patient movement in emission tomography deteriorates reconstruction quality because of motion blur. Gating the data improves the situation somewhat: each gate contains a movement phase which is approximately stationary. …
