Speed-Up Ramp-Counter ADC Using Locality Principle : A systematic analysis
This work inspects the parameters that affect the conversion rate of a ramp-counter ADC and propose two small systematical changes to reduce the time needed to complete a single analog to digital conversion by use of the locality principle point of view. System full architecture is modeled and simulated by Matlab script and the results show up to 97% reduction in conversion time for an electro-cardiograph record.

RAMP: A Flat Nanosecond Optical Network and MPI Operations for Distributed Deep Learning Systems
Distributed deep learning (DDL) systems strongly depend on network performance. Current electronic packet switched (EPS) network architectures and technologies suffer from variable diameter topologies, low-bisection band…
AllPreemptive Spatiotemporal Trajectory Adjustment for Heterogeneous Vehicles in Highway Merging Zones
Aiming at the problem of driver's perception lag and low utilization efficiency of space-time resources in expressway ramp confluence area, based on the preemptive spatiotemporal trajectory Adjustment system, from the pe…
Autonomous DrivingLane level joint control of off-ramp and main line speed guidance on expressway in rainy weather
In the upstream of the exit ramp of the expressway, the speed limit difference leads to a significant deceleration of the vehicle in the area adjacent to the off-ramp. The friction coefficient of the road surface decreas…
FrictionLearning with Value-Ramp
We study a learning principle based on the intuition of forming ramps. The agent tries to follow an increasing sequence of values until the agent meets a peak of reward. The resulting Value-Ramp algorithm is natural, eas…
Throughput of Freeway Networks under Ramp Metering Subject to Vehicle Safety Constraints
Ramp metering is one of the most effective tools to combat traffic congestion. In this paper, we present a ramp metering policy for a network of freeways with arbitrary number of on- and off-ramps, merge, and diverge jun…
