(Stochastic) Model Predictive Control -- a Simulation Example
This brief introduction to Model Predictive Control specifically addresses stochastic Model Predictive Control, where probabilistic constraints are considered. A simple linear system subject to uncertainty serves as an example. The Matlab code for this stochastic Model Predictive Control example is available online.

Data-driven tube-based stochastic predictive control
A powerful result from behavioral systems theory known as the fundamental lemma allows for predictive control akin to Model Predictive Control (MPC) for linear time invariant (LTI) systems with unknown dynamics purely fr…

We present a novel control policy, called Predictive Network Control (PNC) to control wireless communication networks (on packet level), based on paradigms of Model Predictive Control (MPC). In contrast to common myopic …
Model Predictive ControlError Analysis of Sampling Algorithms for Approximating Stochastic Optimal Control
This paper is concerned with the error analysis of two types of sampling algorithms, namely model predictive path integral (MPPI) and an interacting particle system (\IPS) algorithm, that have been proposed in the litera…
Safe Stochastic Model Predictive Control
Combining efficient and safe control for safety-critical systems is challenging. Robust methods may be overly conservative, whereas probabilistic controllers require a trade-off between efficiency and safety. In this wor…

In this work, we exploit an offline-sampling based strategy for the constrained data-driven predictive control of an unknown linear system subject to random measurement noise. The strategy uses only past measured, potent…
