Constructing and Machine Learning Calabi-Yau Five-folds
We construct all possible complete intersection Calabi-Yau five-folds in a product of four or less complex projective spaces, with up to four constraints. We obtain $27068$ spaces, which are not related by permutations of rows and columns of the configuration matrix, and determine the Euler number for all of them. Excluding the $3909$ product manifolds among those, we calculate the cohomological data for $12433$ cases, i.e. $53.7 \%$ of the non-product spaces, obtaining $2375$ different Hodge diamonds. The dataset containing all the above information is available at https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/z7ii5idt6qxu36e0b8azq/h?rlkey=0qfhx3tykytduobpld510gsfy&dl=0 . The distributions of the invariants are presented, and a comparison with the lower-dimensional analogues is discussed. Supervised machine learning is performed on the cohomological data, via classifier and regressor (both fully connected and convolutional) neural networks. We find that $h^{1,1}$ can be learnt very efficiently, with very high $R^2$ score and an accuracy of $96\%$, i.e. $96 \%$ of the predictions exactly match the correct values. For $h^{1,4},h^{2,3}, \eta$, we also find very high $R^2$ scores, but the accuracy is lower, due to the large ranges of possible values.

Machine Learning Gravity Compactifications on Negatively Curved Manifolds
Constructing the landscape of vacua of higher-dimensional theories of gravity by directly solving the low-energy (semi-)classical equations of motion is notoriously difficult. In this work, we investigate the feasibility…
Calabi-Yau Four/Five/Six-folds as $\mathbb{P}^n_\textbf{w}$ Hypersurfaces: Machine Learning, Approximation, and Generation
Calabi-Yau four-folds may be constructed as hypersurfaces in weighted projective spaces of complex dimension 5 defined via weight systems of 6 weights. In this work, neural networks were implemented to learn the Calabi-Y…
Symbolic RegressionMachine Learning Regularization for the Minimum Volume Formula of Toric Calabi-Yau 3-folds
We present a collection of explicit formulas for the minimum volume of Sasaki-Einstein 5-manifolds. The cone over these 5-manifolds is a toric Calabi-Yau 3-fold. These toric Calabi-Yau 3-folds are associated with an infi…
Machine Learning Calabi-Yau Four-folds
Hodge numbers of Calabi-Yau manifolds depend non-trivially on the underlying manifold data and they present an interesting challenge for machine learning. In this letter we consider the data set of complete intersection …
BIG-bench Machine LearningIdentifying equivalent Calabi--Yau topologies: A discrete challenge from math and physics for machine learning
We review briefly the characteristic topological data of Calabi--Yau threefolds and focus on the question of when two threefolds are equivalent through related topological data. This provides an interesting test case for…
