Kernel Methods for Linear Discrete-Time Equations
Methods from learning theory are used in the state space of linear dynamical and control systems in order to estimate the system matrices. An application to stabilization via algebraic Riccati equations is included. The approach is illustrated via a series of numerical examples.

Learning interaction kernels in mean-field equations of 1st-order systems of interacting particles
We introduce a nonparametric algorithm to learn interaction kernels of mean-field equations for 1st-order systems of interacting particles. The data consist of discrete space-time observations of the solution. By least s…
Non-Parametric Learning of Stochastic Differential Equations with Non-asymptotic Fast Rates of Convergence
We propose a novel non-parametric learning paradigm for the identification of drift and diffusion coefficients of multi-dimensional non-linear stochastic differential equations, which relies upon discrete-time observatio…
Dynamic Gaussian Graph Operator: Learning parametric partial differential equations in arbitrary discrete mechanics problems
Deep learning methods have access to be employed for solving physical systems governed by parametric partial differential equations (PDEs) due to massive scientific data. It has been refined to operator learning that foc…
Operator learningFoundations of Diffusion Models in General State Spaces: A Self-Contained Introduction
Although diffusion models now occupy a central place in generative modeling, introductory treatments commonly assume Euclidean data and seldom clarify their connection to discrete-state analogues. This article is a self-…
Gaussian ProcessesOn the relationship between Koopman operator approximations and neural ordinary differential equations for data-driven time-evolution predictions
This work explores the relationship between state space methods and Koopman operator-based methods for predicting the time-evolution of nonlinear dynamical systems. We demonstrate that extended dynamic mode decomposition…
