Long-Term Latency Measurement of Deployed Fiber
Using a Correlation-OTDR we measured the latency of fibers in a deployed cable and calculated the time coefficient of the fiber temperature changes. Annual temperature variations of 25K were estimated for the deployed fiber.

Latency Measurement of 100 km Fiber Using Correlation-OTDR
By means of C-OTDR (Correlation - Optical Time Domain Reflectometry), we measured the latency of100 km fiber with an accuracy of a few picoseconds. Based on iterating 49 measurements, we calculated a standard deviation o…
BOTDA Fiber Sensor System Based on FPGA Accelerated Support Vector Regression
Brillouin optical time domain analyzer (BOTDA) fiber sensors have shown strong capability in static long haul distributed temperature/strain sensing. However, in applications such as structural health monitoring and leak…

Formed by using laser inter-satellite links (LISLs) among satellites in upcoming low Earth orbit and very low Earth orbit satellite constellations, optical wireless satellite networks (OWSNs), also known as free-space op…
Fiber-Flux Diffusion Density for White Matter Tracts Analysis: Application to Mild Anomalies Localization in Contact Sports Players
We present the concept of fiber-flux density for locally quantifying white matter (WM) fiber bundles. By combining scalar diffusivity measures (e.g., fractional anisotropy) with fiber-flux measurements, we define new loc…
