On Some Properties of Calibrated Trifocal Tensors
In two-view geometry, the essential matrix describes the relative position and orientation of two calibrated images. In three views, a similar role is assigned to the calibrated trifocal tensor. It is a particular case o…
Tensor-Based Self-Calibration of Cameras via the TrifocalCalib Method
Estimating camera intrinsic parameters without prior scene knowledge is a fundamental challenge in computer vision. This capability is particularly important for applications such as autonomous driving and vehicle platoo…
Autonomous DrivingA Metric Parametrization for Trifocal Tensors With Non-Colinear Pinholes
The trifocal tensor, which describes the relation between projections of points and lines in three views, is a fundamental entity of geometric computer vision. In this work, we investigate a new parametrization of the tr…
Calibration-free Structure-from-Motion with Calibrated Radial Trifocal Tensors
In this paper we consider the problem of Structure-from-Motion from images with unknown intrinsic calibration. Instead of estimating the internal camera parameters through some self-calibration procedure, we propose to u…
Tensor-Based Synchronization and the Low-Rankness of the Block Trifocal Tensor
The block tensor of trifocal tensors provides crucial geometric information on the three-view geometry of a scene. The underlying synchronization problem seeks to recover camera poses (locations and orientations up to a …
