Performance Analysis of Synchronous Motor Drives under Concurrent Errors in Position and Current Sensing
Field oriented control of permanent magnet synchronous motor drives involves the closed-loop regulation of currents in the synchronous reference frame. The current feedback is directly affected by errors in both position and stationary frame current measurements. This paper presents the exact analytical expression for estimated synchronous frame currents under simultaneous errors in both sensors along with a detailed analysis of the incorrect estimation on the closed-loop current control performance.

Position Sensing Errors in Synchronous Motor Drives
Non-ideal position estimation results in degraded performance of synchronous motor drive systems due to reduction of the average capability of the drive as well as torque harmonics of different orders. The signature and …
PositionVector Control Algorithm Based on Different Current Control Switching Techniques for Ac Motor Drives
A comparative analysis of vector control scheme based on different current control switching pulses (HC, SPWM, DPWM and SVPWM) for the speed response of motor drive is analysed in this paper. The control system using dif…
Data-Driven Recursive Least Squares Estimation for Model Predictive Current Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors
The performance of model predictive controllers (MPC) strongly depends on the model quality. In the field of electric drive control, white-box (WB) modeling approaches derived from first-order physical principles are mos…
