A SAT-based Resolution of Lam's Problem
In 1989, computer searches by Lam, Thiel, and Swiercz experimentally resolved Lam's problem from projective geometry$\unicode{x2014}$the long-standing problem of determining if a projective plane of order ten exists. Bot…
Projective reconstruction in algebraic vision
We discuss the geometry of rational maps from a projective space of an arbitrary dimension to the product of projective spaces of lower dimensions induced by linear projections. In particular, we give an algebro-geometri…
Nonconcave Robust Utility Maximization under Projective Determinacy
We study a robust utility maximization problem in a general discrete-time frictionless market. The investor is assumed to have a random, nonconcave and nondecreasing utility function, which may or may not be finite on th…
Practical Projective Structure From Motion (P2SfM)
This paper presents a solution to the Projective Structure from Motion (PSfM) problem able to deal efficiently with missing data, outliers and, for the first time, large scale 3D reconstruction scenarios. By embedding th…
3D ReconstructionvalidOn Projective Reconstruction In Arbitrary Dimensions
We study the theory of projective reconstruction for multiple projections from an arbitrary dimensional projective space into lower-dimensional spaces. This problem is important due to its applications in the analysis of…
